Open House Weekend – GRAND OPENING!!

May 2026 is looking bright for the future of Wild Fern Wellness, LLC. So bright in fact, that in addition to farmers’ market + craft fair type events, assorted galas/fundraiser events, corporate retreats & training, mobile massage offerings, and local business collaborations . . . Jennifer is opening up a ‘Wild Fern Wellness’ studio space in Downtown Columbia. Stop by during our open house (Friday May 1st from 4pm-9pm & Saturday May 2nd from 12pm-4pm) to visit our new space, see some of our favorite local small businesses, enter into a ‘Luxe Spa Service’ gift basket giveaway with premium products and service vouchers, be a part of hands-on massage demonstrations and more!

“Spring Fling” Waverly Woods Golf Course – Craft Fair

March brought a bumpy ride for many of our weather sensitive friends, but we made it through! Saturday mornings aren’t always for sleeping in . . . once spring arrives it is time for ADVENTURE, EXCITEMENT, SUNSHINE, ARTS+CRAFTS, and so much more! Taking full advantage of the sunshine even on the *chilly* final Saturday in March – we were out at Waverly Woods golf course(just off Marriottsville Road) giving free chair massage to the golfers, local artisans/crafters, and Saturday morning shoppers passing through. If you loved the ‘Sleep Salve” used in the massage demonstrations – keep an eye out for BubbeButter products being retailed at our new studio location.

“Possibilities Conference”

Our founder attended this incredible event hosted by Possibilities Coaching & Consulting LLC on March 14th 2026. CEO and Founder of Possibilities Conference – Kiersten Lortz built an inspiring conference centered around not just temporary motivation, but capturing actionable change as well as creating a sense of direction and solidarity for attendees. With an impressive list of local vendors/supporting businesses and incredible speakers bringing an abundance of experience – coming up with the words to really share credit has been a challenge. Check back soon for Jennifer’s description of the event experience, favorite notes from all the speakers . . . and an update on *actual* changes this fueled for Jennifer personally & professionally.

“Evening in the Stacks 2026”

Did you capture a rare sighting of Jennifer ‘in the wild’ at one of her FAVORITE places . . . the Howard County East Branch Library!? Decades of joyful perusing of books here and exploring the community have made this home to countless joyful memories for this LMT. The “HoCo Library System” annual fundraiser/gala is always a hit, and taking part in making this thrilling night truly one to remember was a reminder of just how many neighbors we still get to look forward to meeting here in Columbia + Howard County + Central Maryland!

Did You See Us ‘Turkey Trotting’?

Thursday, November 27th 2025 Wild Fern Wellness, LLC founder and MD licensed massage therapist-Jennifer Tippetts- attended local “Turkey Trot” event in Columbia to cheer on participants, provide on-site stretching & chair massage. Progressive Athletics of Howard County hosted this annual event at Dunloggin Middle School, which featured 1 mile, 2 mile, and 5k run routes. There was music, a “turkey toss” competition featuring 20lb sand bag disguised as a turkey, awards for participants, hot chocolate, cider, and donuts post-run . . . and of course massage! This chilly morning had a WONDERFUL turnout with over 150 “trotters” of all ages. There were cyclists, roller-bladers, trotters with dogs, strollers, and trotters out running for a cause/donations for local charities. While we don’t typically massage outdoors in winter, on a day like Thanksgiving- anything to help keep our local athletes in tip-top shape!

Packages, Products, & Promotions – Oh My!!!

It seems as though 2026 is off to a soaring start! Due to an increase in client requests-okay, persistent weekly inquiries- for massage packages and possible monthly or “membership” pricing options . . . the time has come for massage packages to become available through Wild Fern Wellness, LLC. While the details are still being fine tuned, expect to see options including 60 minute massages in packages of 3 count, 6 count, & 12 count. While the 60 minute sessions are our most popular offering, keep an eye out for 90 minute massage packages – over the next few months there may also be a limited number of these premium 90 minute massage packages available for purchase/gifting. If you are interested in purchasing a massage package, please note this when scheduling so your request can be accommodated before packages go live online.

The (sometimes WILD) world of wellness is filled to the brim with supplements, gadgets, all manner of topical lotions/salves/cremes/oils, health ‘super-foods’, niche fitness programs, & more. Having options is great . . . but do you ever just feel overwhelmed by it all? Apprehensive? Frustrated? Or even just plain disgusted? You are not alone. When it comes to massage, there are already enough questions before worrying about the products your wellness providers use or offer for sale. The upcoming ‘recommendations and retail navigation’ page soon to be on the Wild Fern Wellness, LLC website is being carefully cultivated NOT as a product purchasing page, NOT with affiliate links, and will NOT provide revenue for the licensed professional(s) cultivating the items listed. The purpose is to create a resource with professional feedback from individuals that specialize in the creation/professional application/research/regulation of these various wellness tools. From global entities firmly established in massage, to up-and-coming professionals, to local high quality businesses, to online retailers and “dupes” of big brand names – this will be an ever growing archive that rotates featured items, provides transparent information on products used in Wild Fern Wellness massage services, and updates information as new data becomes shared from reputable sources.

Ads, ads, and more ads! Everywhere we look lately there seem to be more ads, more promotions, more deals, more links, and more steps involved to save money. Don’t worry though, this isn’t some attempt to lure you into yet another mailing list with emails and text messages you don’t really want.
